Wedding Anniversary, Wife Receives Sad News From Malaysia

No one can imagine how Baiq Pademi felt. She received the sad news on her eighth wedding anniversary.

The sad news was about the condition of her husband who went abroad to become an Indonesian migrant worker in Malaysia. Baiq Pademi's husband, Gafur, died in Malaya in tragic circumstances. 

It was unfortunate for the woman born in 1998. She had to bear the living expenses of two children who were born from her marriage to the deceased.

adbmi.org - Baiq Pademi tried to keep smiling to greet anyone who came to ask about her husband's news. Even so, the smile that radiated from her face could not hide her feelings all this time.


The sad news that came from Malaysia on her wedding anniversary was so heartbreaking for Baiq Pademi and her family. The reason is, her husband died after being shot with 20 bullets.


Previously, the family said there were around seven bullets. However, after an autopsy at the hospital, a total of 20 bullets penetrated the body of Gafur, Pademi's husband.


Gafur was killed by the Iban Dayak tribe in the Bandar Simpang Nguh area of ​​Ulunia District, Sarawak State, Malaysia. He was shot after trying to secure his belongings that were stolen by the people of the Malaysian interior.


News of Gafur's death reached the family on Monday, July 29, 2024. The family received the news directly from Gafur's co-worker.


Gafur comes from Cengok Hamlet, Waringin Village, Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency, NTB.



Baiq Pademi's Wedding Anniversary Gift Wrapped in Husband's Coffin in Malaysia


April 2024 was Baiq Pademi and Gafur's wedding anniversary. They have been married for 8 years.


"We have been married for 8 years," explained Baiq Pademi, August 1, 2024 yesterday to the author.


From this marriage, he was blessed with two young daughters. The first child is named Ratifa Safitri who is now in kindergarten.


"The second one is still 8 months old, her name is Cahya Asifa," he explained while smiling to hide the pain he was experiencing.


She is still waiting for clarity on when her husband's body will arrive home.  


"We are still waiting, hopefully it will be sooner," explained Baiq Pademi.
