East Kaltim Village Government (East Kalijaga) Appreciates LSD's Breakthrough to Collect Data on PMI Families

This appreciation was conveyed directly by Hamdi, Secretary of East Kalimantan Village (East Kalijaga) Aikmel District. When met at the village office, Hamdi revealed that the movement of the Village Social Institution (LSD) which carried out data collection in each hamlet was very extraordinary.

Data collection was carried out by LSD to see how many residents were in each hamlet in East Kalijaga village (Kaltim). And as our database (ADBMI) and also the local village government.

adbmi.org – The East Kalijaga village government (Pemdes Kaltim) expressed extraordinary appreciation for the breakthrough of the Village Social Institute (LSD) which carried out data collection on the families of Indonesian migrant workers.


"This will help the performance of the village government itself," explained Hamdi as Secretary of East Kalijaga Village, Wednesday (3/20/2024).


Hamdi considers that the data collection carried out by the East Kalijaga LSD is very important. Especially collecting data on the families of Indonesian migrant workers.


"From here we can see how many people have migrated to become migrant workers from East Kalijaga village," added the East Kaltim village secretary.


Hamdi also added that the results of the data collection carried out by LSD could later become a reference for programs that will be carried out in the future by the village government.

At a different time, Nurmadian, the East Kalijaga LSD administrator, revealed that many East Kalijaga residents had gone abroad.


He even mentioned that in one of the RTs in Dasan Re Hamlet, East Kalijaga Village, almost half of the heads of their families had migrated abroad.


"Around 50 people per RT, while the number of families there are around 100 or more. There are so many," explained Nurmadian when met by the author.


It is known that the data collection carried out by LSD itself is a program supported by the ADBMI Foundation and AWO International. The data collection was carried out during the fasting month.
